The DC Fashion Foundation is excited to announce the newest cohort of Designers-in-Residence in our premier program, the DC Fashion Incubator at Macy’s!
The DC Fashion Incubator is a residency program based in a glass-enclosed design and learning space at Macy’s Metro Center. This application-only program welcomes top fashion industry entrepreneurs from the DC area to benefit from its physical resources and equipment, space to work and showcase designs, seminars on business development, access to mentors and networking, and specialized consulting.
The Designers-in-Residence are one month into the program. They have already participated in an orientation session, attended a training on pitching their business to investors, and begun designing submissions for the Macy’s Red Dress Collection show in New York.
