The DC Fashion Foundation has launched a new website!

The Foundation is staying at its regular domain, www.dcfashionfoundation.org. Visitors can read about the Foundation’s mission, history, programs, and leadership in our “About Us” section. Under our “Programs” section, they can learn about and apply to our premier offering: The Designer-in-Residence Program in our DC Fashion Incubator at Macy’s. This section also details other programs for fashion industry professionals and enthusiasts, including our Public Program, Fashion Showcase Series, and Internship for Credit.

Our “Events” section gives visitors a glimpse at an expanded list of our past and upcoming calendar items. Meanwhile, our “News” section offers coverage on some of our past events and will be the new home for updates on the Foundation’s activities. As before, this section will include writing authored by both the Foundation’s team and the broader media. Visitors can also stay up-to-date on the Foundation by signing up for our newsletter on our homepage.

We are also proud to draw announce one of the most meaningful portions of our site: Our “Support” section. We invite individuals and organizations to give through a secure donation portal, and we will soon add a call for support that visitors can download to read. This new publication will detail our programming, demonstrate our impact on the DC community, and explain how individuals and organizations can make a meaningful investment in the DC community’s economic development through the Foundation. Best of all, it will feature stories and quotes from impressive individuals who have benefited from the Foundation’s programming and contributed to its growth.

Our “Support” section also contains information on getting involved with the Foundation. These supporters are vital to the Foundation’s success. The Foundation strives to craft positions that will not only make a meaningful impact on the Foundation but also be personally relevant to and fulfilling for each individual who joins us. Our opportunities are highly varied — ranging from tactical event planning and execution to high-level non-profit development — and we welcome and appreciate enthusiasts of all backgrounds, skill levels, and time commitments.

Please take the time to click through our website, and let us know if you have any questions or feedback at info@dcfashionfoundation.org.
