On June 14, Dur Doux – a member of the DC Fashion Incubator at Macy’s 2015-2016 cohort –launched a new brick-and-mortar presence!
Dur Doux brought its Spring-Summer 2018 collection to Ron David, a U Street boutique run by a designer and friend of the DC Fashion Foundation.

The two brands’ styles seamlessly align. Both offer upscale womenswear with high-end fabrication; unique and flattering cuts that are rare finds at traditional retailers; and a style melding elements of classic and edgy design.

Attendees sipped rosé, browsed and tried on the collections, and met the designers. The boutique is a welcome rarity on U Street – one of the few (if only) places that locals can find high fashion before diving into the area’s many restaurants, clubs, and lounges. A visitor could truly dress-and-go: Put on one of Dur Doux’s crop tops and flowing pants to head out for a night of dancing, or slip into one of Ron David’s flowing tropical dresses and wander over to brunch with friends.

The launch is Dur Doux’s second brick-and-mortar move this season, coming on the heels of the brand’s launch at Macy’s in Las Vegas in early June. Visit the brand soon at Ron David, 1017 U Street NW!
